Use Macatawa Bank ATM’s to access your account any time at no cost to you.

Balance Protection

Attach a savings, a money market or a checking account to another checking account. Balance Protection Service provides an automatic transfer of funds from a savings, money market or other checking account when your primary checking account becomes overdrawn. Here’s how easy Balance Protection works:

• Personal accounts only
• Allowed up to six transfers a month*
• Transfer money in $100 increments, but if $100 is not available it will take the balance of what is available
• Can attach an account that is currently on the system – do not need to open a new one
• Standard fees apply to each individual account
• Only one type of overdraft protection service per checking account
• $7 Balance Protection Service Fee assessed per transfer, one per day

*Unlimited transfers if attached to any checking account. However, you may not make more than six preauthorized transactions per monthly statement cycle from your Money Market or Savings Account. Of these six transfers, no more than 3 can be made by check, draft, debit card, or similar means to a third party. Each balance transfer counts as one of the six preauthorized transactions.

Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit saves you and your company time and money by depositing your paycheck directly into your Macatawa Bank checking or savings account. You can have monthly loan or mortgage payments paid automatically through payroll deductions as well. Ask your Human Resource Department if you have a direct deposit program.
